William the Conqueror's Stone as it appeared before Circa 1827 . The stone was removed to the St. Leonards Gardens, then outside Hastings Pier, and is now on Marina. The cliff/hill to the background is most likely the promontory of the White Rock. Printed by T. B. Brett
