The Pikes 'Blue Book' street directory collector and representative for the years 1902-1923; living at number 2 Alpha Villas[1][2], his occupation in 1911 being described as a 'Travelling Manager' and the postal address being given as 432 Old London Road (Old London Road extending further round into what is now The Ridge at the time)[3].
