Purpose: When placed on a person page or subpage (e.g., John Smith (1911-1973)/ahnentafel), this template shows 5 generations of ancestors in a tree.
Usage note: This is not in the family of showfacts supported templates. Instead, refer to Template:showfacts tree02.
Showfacts ahnentree is time consuming to refresh and is hard on the wikia servers. It also does not display images or descriptions of the birth and death dates/locations when available. To avoid such limitations, use {{showfacts tree02}} instead.
