Description

Tabulates on an individual's page the children of one of the parents of that individual, separating the various partnerships.

Syntax

{{Siblings}} or {{Siblings|<parentlink >}}

where parentlink is an optional parameter (which defaults to the person's father; insert mother's pagename if you prefer her children to show or the father has no facts page).

Notes

{{Showfacts siblings via}}, add {{Siblings}} somewhere in the "free text" section (near the bottom of the form if you're editing with form); one good place is immediately before the {{Showfacts children}} template.

If no siblings can be programmatically found, only a heading shows, and you can list known siblings starting on the next line. If there's already a manually-inserted heading, delete that.

To show half-siblings on both sides, regrettably you need to insert the template twice, once bare and once with the mother's page as parameter.

Ideally one of our experts can tweak the template to show children of both parents by other liaisons.

The alternative "Showfacts siblings" template shows results in columns and is fairly unsatisfactory but probably capable of improvement.
