- Description
- Tabulates people involved in genealogical events that happened in a particular year in a particular nation. ("Yip" stands for "Year in place".)
- Syntax
- Type or paste {{yip nation||}}, adding the year after the first pipe and the nation (without initial "the") after the second
- Where to use it
- Preferably on an article named accordingly, e.g. 1940 in the United Kingdom.
- Notes
- Contributors are welcome to create their own "year in nation" articles with this template if they have not yet been created; we may, however, automate the process in future. See Forum:Events of year in nation.
